Darussalam Mosque needs your help to Purchase an Ambulance.
Darussalam Masjid has been providing funeral services for the Muslim community since 2014. We aim to provide a caring compassionate service that treats the deceased with the utmost respect. Muslim law and tradition have endowed a Muslim’s funeral with profound religious significance, and it should, in every aspect, express the dignity, sanctity and modesty of a solemn religious service. The Masjid has been using only one old ambulance that can take only one deceased; however, during coronavirus pandemic the death surged, and we couldn’t reach many deceased brothers and sisters. By this emergency we need to triple our funeral service to help our community.
We can only do this by purchasing a standardised ambulance that can take four bodies once as shown in the picture. This ambulance costs £37,000 to purchase and equip to Standard so we are desperately need your help so we can help our community.
Our funeral service cover: ·
· Pick up the deceased from home, hospital or hospice ·
· The final bathing (Ghusal) of the deceased. ·
· Shrouding of the deceased under the supervision of qualified personnel ·
· Booking grave for the deceased ·
· Pray SalatulJanazah ·
· Transfer of the deceased after the preparation to the booked cemeteries
Also, provide a highly personal service by giving paperwork support and guidance to families when they are grieving.
Your donations will really make a difference, may Allah reward you for every penny you contribute.
Allah says in the Holy Quran : ( الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُم بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً فَلَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُم (يَحْزَنُونَ ”Those who spend their wealth( in charity )day and night, secretly and openly—their reward is with their Lord, and there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve.”
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said that Allah the Glorious and Exalted Says: ‘Spend (on charity), O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.’
This is the Ambulance we are raising for the fund. It can transport 4 bodies at one time, hence, increasing Darussalam’s funeral capacity.
