The First day of Ramadan will be on Friday 24 April 2020. May Allah make this a blessed month for all of us, especially as we face the unprecedented restrictions of the coronavirus pandemic lockdown.
As the situation with Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to escalate and in line with Government guidance and careful deliberation, it has been decided that Darussalam Masjid will remain closed for Ramadan. These measures are needed to help with social distancing and protect both our attendees and employees. We will review this decision in line with Government guidelines on 7th May, but it is highly unlikely the Mosques and Centres will resume operations before the end of Ramadan.
This means that there will be no congregational prayers, Tarawih prayers or Iftar provisions inside the premises.
We understand this is a difficult time for the community, but only by complying with the necessary safety measures will we be able to gradually open our centres. Unfortunately, nationwide, we are not quite at that stage yet.
With regards to Eid, we will update the community closer to the time InshaAllah.
For any further information or for any Ramadan initiatives please contact to Darussalam office.
We greatly appreciate your support thus far in these unprecedented times; we will keep you updated with any further progress.
May Allah protect us all .
